Liora Hess is a self-taught artist living in Southern California with her family which includes one 16-year-old tuxedo cat (who appears in some of her work). She enjoys illustration, fine art, photography, graphic design and creating living art. While still in her 30s, Liora discovered her own breast cancer and successfully completed treatment. She believes that experience helped free her to express her creative self. Though Liora creating art with a variety of subject matter, Jewish themes and cats are of particular interest.
